It will be my first metal detector. I looked at Garrett and Bounty Hunter specs, but for the money the Delta looked like the best deal. Have a Teknetics Mark III that has worked great for 26 years, but decided due to age to get a lighter new Teknetics. Ordered a Delta from KellyCo, but was on back order! I was considering buying the new $550 Goldbug from Fisher when it gets released but now I think it's best for me to buy a Teknetics Delta 4000 because it's cheaper and has the features that I really want in a new metal detector and it'll replace my Bounty Hunter Prospector metal detector. Great review!
