Good day again this morning! I ran into Dave a couple a days ago and he gave me some very good tips and advice on how to set my Ace 250 to where I could get closer to the water and in wet sand. So, I went out this morning and worked the south side of Johnny Mercer’s pier and began to search using Dave’s settings on the Ace and in short time it hit on the ring.. A good one! 14K gold with 10 diamonds inset in it. Talk about excitment!! After I finished up this morning with the ususal coinage too I went to the Jewelry store and they said it was real diamonds and a nice find. They also ballparked the value of around $250.00 thereabouts…Anyways and anyhows I want to say THANKS A LOT Sir Dave for the great detecting tips….Have fun out there folks and thanks again Dave..
