New Fisher Gold Bug
http://detectorstuff.com/index.php/2009/...-detector/
Who doesn't wanna find gold? The new Gold Bug looks like it will be a great nugget hunter...but looking at the specs and the optional 11" DD, (and that it has a discrimination circuit) I'm wondering..."Hmmmm....killer relic machine?"
My current metal detector arsenal...
Fisher F75, Bounty Hunter Platinum, Fisher CZ3D, Minelab Sovereign, White's V3, Minelab Explorer 2, Teknetics Delta, Teknetics Omega, Fisher F5, Garrett "deepseeker", Fisher F70

RE: New Fisher Gold Bug
It looks Teknitics-ish. Great price for a high kHz gold machine, though.

RE: New Fisher Gold Bug
Word has it the new Goldbug is now available at Cabela's...however, if history is a teacher I would wait for the dealer market version! (T2)

That's what I thought too. Give it the Omega upper rod Hardware, the 11" DD coil as stock and name it Teknetics Gold One.
I would like to see a 7.8 KHz detector excactly like that as a Teknetics.
Would be the "better" Omega with independent gain and threshold and be more international without the nickel, dime....categories.

Hi Andy,
Welcome and glad to see you here. I read your reviews all over the NET. Some of the best, IMO.
