I have been watching the different gold shows on TV. They make everything look very difficult ;D Troy from CRABS used to do some panning and sluicing and always said it was a lot of work but just fun to be into. I think we probably have some traces up here but not enough to spend much time on it. I think I will stick to coin hunting. Haven't found anything very interesting lately like we used to before it got so popular but there are a lot of old old sites around here.

I think the only place making real money is the accessory shop.Also the Knoebel's who are renting out ground to hunt on and cabins to live in while your hunting in Alaska.I would assume that some folks are doing the same in Ca.
