With screen widths that is not being used It would be helpful to have an image of how the highlighted team is ranked in the present category as the Madden 25 season progressed. It would be a good way to observe, for instance how our team has become better at efficiency in third downs throughout the season or if we’re taking a different path.
Overall this is a great feature of franchise mode which gives players options for pursuing deals that will increase their roster. There are a few minor items that could be added to enhance the experience. The first is to give users the option of adding the players we have in our trading block via this screen. The only place currently where you can do that (unless I’m lacking something) is on the Player Card screen.
The second option is to allow the user to the players that are on the NFL on the “Upgrade Position” screen. This is similar to what you can see through trade Block screen. The difference is that the Trade Block screen displays players being actively sought out by other teams. In the Upgrade Position screen you have to choose each team separately to view the listing of players according to position. It would be great to have the ability to scroll through all cornerbacks simultaneously to focus on the best player.
We’re glad to have moved on from the time that we were seeing the same information on every loading screen, whether it was tips for games, controls hints, or simply an image that said “loading.” We now see a couple of our players as well as their daily, season and milestone goals.
This is useful to those who are in racking up XP to help develop players but it’s more immersive if provided with matchup breakdowns as well as season stats for important players as well as playoff-related scenarios or images from previous games during the season. These sorts of things will give the appearance of a telecast on TV instead of reminding you it’s video Madden 25 games, which is what displaying the XP bonuses do.
