    • This has been going on for three weeks and I’m at my wit’s end. My car starts fine in the morning if I’ve driven it the day before, but if it sits for more than a day the battery is dead and I’m jumping it again. I’ve replaced the battery already thinking that was the issue, and the alternator tested fine, so clearly something is draining it while it’s parked. I’ve pulled fuses one by one like some YouTube tutorial suggested but honestly I don’t really know what I’m looking at and I gave up after an hour. A colleague mentioned quality auto electrical diagnostics and repair in Musaffah Industrial Area and said they tracked down a parasitic drain on his car that three other shops missed, so I’m thinking of booking it in. My question is how do they actually find the drain, is it a process of elimination or do they have proper equipment? Also, roughly how long does this kind of diagnosis take because I can’t be carless for a week. Any experiences with chasing a parasitic drain would help, this is genuinely ruining my mornings.
