    • I want to share what happened to me and also ask if I was treated fairly, because I keep thinking about it. My 2017 Mercedes C Class had an AC that blew cool but never really cold, and the fan sounded weaker than before. I took it to a garage near my office in Sharjah and they told me it needed gas and a small part changed. I paid, picked up the car the same evening, and honestly it felt great for the first two days. Then yesterday afternoon, when it was really hot outside, the air went from cold to just okay after about twenty minutes of driving. Now I am wondering if they only filled the gas and did not check the real problem. The worker did not show me the old part, and the paper they gave me only says AC service with no details. I am not a car expert at all, so I did not know what to ask at that moment. I have been reading to understand how Mercedes AC systems work, and I found a page on a local website about Mercedes cars that explained the condenser, the blower and the gas in simple words. I only opened it to learn the basics, but it made me realize I should have asked more questions. A friend told me to look for a Reliable Mercedes AC repair workshop in Sharjah next time, one that gives a proper written report, but he could not say how to know which one is really reliable. So here is what I want to ask you all. After an AC repair, how long should I wait before I decide it was not done well? Is it normal for the AC to lose some power in heavy heat even after a good repair? And what should a garage write on the invoice so I can be sure what they really did? Should they do a leak test with dye or pressure, or is that only for bigger problems? If I go back to the same garage, how do I talk to them without starting a fight? Also, did anyone here get a free recheck after a repair? I would love to hear your stories, good or bad, and any small checks you do yourself before you pay.
