  • It sure looks like Christmas there tink. But I 'm sure it's pretty cold, stay inside as much as possible and keep safe my friend.

Thanks guys. But we do have to put in the hours. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

Wowzer tink!!!!Now that was well worth the wait. They're beautiful watches.I'm delighted for ya tink, you deserve it M8.That really made the trip well worthwhile. You'll be out there tomorrow with a new vigour looking for the next treasure. 8) 8)

Yep tink that looks promising.I hope ya get some sparklers from the deep.Β  8) 8)We seem to have lost our rhythm since we got back from vacation, and the weather has changed. It's much cooler, wetter, and darker since we changed our clocks back on Saturday. πŸ™ πŸ™

Nice pic of the boss tink.Miss Mary is in charge. ;D ;D

Great tink.Just go for it and keep posting pics.I get the impression from your description that the beach could be sanded in.Which means any targets are gonna be real deep. That shouldn't be a problem with the Pro SE.Good luck tink. 8) 8)

At last your on your way tink.I wish you both a safe and happy journey.Have a great holiday and spend a lorra lorra, time on the beach.I'm relying on you two to come up with some really good finds and posts.Good luck tink and Miss Mary. (Have fun)

Β  During the summer months in Wellsbore, Pa we actually have Pianos sitting on the walk in front of many of the stores and people just sit down and play. A lot of the time a crowd gathers and joins in the singing - pretty neat

Yeah tink, I've seen video's on you tube of the piano's out on the streets.Their waiting there for someone to have a go, and some of the pianists are great players. 8) 8)

I know for a fact that it does go down well in the States. There are quite a few organ grinders and they're well scattered around country. They have organ rallies or get togethers maybe twice or three times a year.If your interested I could possibly dig up some contacts for you.I would think the weather in N.C. would be a big advantage. 8) 8)

welcome back Ian!!Β  glad you guys did well.Β  To us your clad count is out of this worldΒ  congrats

Many thanks NP.With the amount of jewelry we don't pick up we have ta do good on somethin'.So it has to be clad or nuthin'. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

Thanks guys.I still haven't got my pics sorted out yet, just to get them resized now in between everyday things.Although I can give you our total clad count for the fortnight.Unfortunately no jewelry at all.But our clad count for the 2 weeks came to Β£107:42 = $173:37. About 70-80 pence up on last year.It rained only once in the fortnight for about 15 minutes, andit was hot for us but still nothing like you guys get.I managed a couple of organ trips with some nice pics. ;D ;D

Well that's all the packing done.If we've missed anything it's too late now.I've even trimmed my beard drastically since I only need it thick and long in the winter. We've got a load of aa alkaline batteries just in case the NimH batts give up on us.Our homemade first aid kit is already aboard, and also haveseveral battery chargers as well for various items.I made some route maps for places I'll be visiting too. We've put back our departure time to 19:00 to avoid rush hour traffic and should get well past Birmingham while it's still quiet.

    That's a funny one.

You're more than welcome tink.Although I won't be able to post them till I get back home.I wouldn't know what to do with a smartphone. We only have an early type mobile and we don't even know the number. But that's ok because I won't be phoning myself. It's only used for emergencies.I do intend taking lots of pics. 8) 8)

Thank you for the kind words np.We know that no matter how it turns out we will enjoy ourselves. 8) 8)
