  • Looks like it's been there for quite a while.Silver is silver.

A big warm welcome to Bubba and Hermit from Ian n Eileen. We're both beach hunters too.I look forward to some posts from you guys.

No. 1 priority is to get driving again.Which would enable us to get exercise and detecting at ourvarious beaches.Hopefully the bonus would be a bit of extra spending money.

Nice ta cya getting out tink.I'm sure you enjoyed your time on the beach just the same.Ya can be sure when it's sanded in your not gonna get the same amount of stuff. It was the same on our vacation. (sanded in)So we did more of the tourist thing instead.

Hi guitarman,I wish you a warm welcome to detectorstuff.comWe look forward to seeing some posts from you and anyone else you can muster up. HH.

Thanks guys.Although even if I was ok, we still can't get out on the beachesto hunt as I still can't drive my car yet.Thinking of getting in touch with the hospital to try and get a cancellation once my rib is ok.That's where you go for a driving assessment.

Hey Ian nice the hear from you.  Was wondering if you and yours still liked your Racers.  happy hunting!

Hey Nickelpicker, yeah we still love our racers. But Eileen's one went wonky when we were away (coil faulty) however it's all fixed now.

We hope you two have a nice holiday. The beaches were very quiet for us this year.Less than £10 for two weeks, but one honker of a man's wedding band 9c and heavy size K I believe.Would've  fitted a bull's nose!

I know exactly how ya feel tink. For the moment 3 hours definitely hurts. The Cornish beaches really let us down this year. They weren't yielding at all this year, we put it down to not being able to drive to them when we wanted to.Our son and daughter in law drove us all the way down and home again, consequently we didn't want to ask too much of them. However I did manage to drive a go-cart in a race on two separate days. I did manage a fair performance and I really enjoyed it without any mishaps.I did discover my daughter in law can drive a go-cart with guts.I will as time allows, give you some bits n pieces over time.

    Beautiful place your backyard tink.

We are gonna have to learn them all over again. But we're really gonna enjoy it.Tink it usually takes around a year after a stroke.

Hey np  $13:70 is a nice wee quarterly bonus. But as time goes by the quarterly bonus will rise.

Thanks for the encouragement guys.I know I've got a fair bit to go yet, before I can get back to normal. But it really was wonderful to get back out on the beach again.Looking forward to the next time.

Well done np on being stubborn.I'll bet the old guy was delighted to get it back. It's not the first time I've gone about twenty minuteswith my machine switched off.Don't it make ya feel silly. 8) 8) 8) 8)

All he has to do now, is find what piece of land the map refers to.Then he's got it made with the help of a hired backhoe. LOL.
