For me an all nighter usually meant tipping a few 😀 Can't handle that anymore. Glad to se you getting out and as usual finding much more than we do. You put the work into it though. Been close to 100 F here the last couple of days. Too hot to hunt. 40 below in Feb and 100 above now. Quite a swing.
WOW! Really nice hunt. Good you are getting out. I have one of those T rex sitting on my desk surrounded by GI Joe figures that have showed up over the years. 😀 We are starting to get caught up on some things so hopefully we will get some detecting in. No way could we find as much as you do - congrats
Hey! Congrats on getting out and having a good hunt. Always like finding the little cars. We have not been hunting much so far this year- been extra busy. Hope to get started but now will have to compete with the snakes and bees ??? We went from very cold to very wet and now hot. This has caused everything to be overgrown which makes detecting hard in the old logging sites. Looks like a lost year here. I don't have too many more years to lose either 😀
yeah – My CZ6a has been with me for awhile. Before Minelab made the scene the CZ series was the wet sand king. 2 freq. with salt mode and adjustable sensitivity got down to gold rings that had been there for awhile. Disc. mode put the hurting to the PI dig everything. It was a really fun machine for quite awhile. I kept mine in pretty good shape for yrs. Lent it out last month and when I got it back it looked like it had been run over :'( I'm thinking it must be 20 yrs old and I still found gold last vacation on WB NC
I use a Excelerator DD 7×5 on my Pro SE for close hunts around trees and such. I lose a little depth but crank up the sensitivity in some places to compensate. Just tried to find the paper work to see if Mine Lab puts this on the market? I think I bought it through Kellyco but either way it matches my machine and does what I expected
I think some of them have been watching the detector shows on TV and think that is the only way to hunt. No skill at all – just get a backhoe if you need a bigger hole. Bad enough on the beach to leave holes but to tear up a public park is unforgivable. Many places are off limit to detectors because of a few slobs.
I have found in my lifetime that there are many unexplainable things. Some can be very weird and even scary. Have lived in some houses that caused me to listen to every little sound and often made the hair on my neck stand up. I can say I don't believe in ghosts but sometimes I wonder 😀 😀
