I hope you have a good time! Let us know how those new detectors do.
That's a good start! Getting out is over half the fun…even when nothing comes out of the ground.
Investing the clad finds is a great idea! I look at it like its something for nothing…or better yet, it something from something you love to do!
great video KS! I really enjoyed following along with the hunt you guys went on!
Beautiful place! I don't blame ya…I'd be keeping a hook wet too!
GREAT job! Nothing better than finding something for someone that has deep emotional value.
Cool! Keep us posted on how they do for you!
Let us know how you like the XP. I've heard it is tremendous in the iron too.
For me, the G2 is better at finding high conductors in iron. That's about the only benefit for me. If you're into gold hunting, it can also kick some butt at finding itty bitty low conductors like gold (but is loved by relic hunters for it's ability to find lead & brass too!).IF I'm primarily a coin hunter, it's the Omega. IF I'm hunting for coins in a super iron infested site, I'd grab the G2.
Awesome! My F75 was sent to Fisher for the upgrade program. I plan to do some old coin hunting when it makes it back home.
Wow!!!! I don't miss it THAT much! 😀 I would love to see a few flakes though…we usually get 1 or 2 quick snows a Winter here. Snows, stays a few days and the melts away. This year has been abnormally free of any frozen precip.
Sounds like a lot of digging!!! Good job!
I don't know for sure if the coinstar will ID them right, however, the bank will swap 'em out, no problem.
Still sounds like a good year, NP. I like the old coins more than jewelry (even high dollar stuff!) so good job!I have not hunted this year like I planned. I've had some pretty epic life events unfold in 2014...good and bad. I am praying for a smoother and calmer New Year to let me pursue some fun stuff. We are still unseasonalbly warm around here...and I have a fellow detectorist nearby wanting to get out and swing a coil, so maybe this week?
