Hey, I forgot ta say the smiley thing at the bottom centreis a supermarket trolley token.They're the same size as our pound coins.I hope you manage to get out for a hunt soon tink.It's no fun hangin' around the house and no hunting. :'( :'(
Thanks for the encouragement and kind comments guys.I hope you guys manage to get out before long.You guys have had it very hard this winter.
I've met 2 or 3 guys with Minelab e-tracs who are using the very first ones he produced.The only thing I didn't like about them was the fact that the head band had bare metal showing.But the guys swore blind they were great headphones. 8) 8)
I like the fact that I can control how quiet or chattery the detectorwill be under any given conditions.
Of course I may be wrong.But, he just might be doin' air tests. 8) 8)Yeah Kenny, I reckon at it's closest point he was a foot off the ground. ;D ;DI only take 6 inch steps to allow coil overlap, he looks to be missing 2 feet with every step. Ha Ha.
I'm an oddball.I'm in both categories depending on the mood I'm in.Although I prefer it to be stable most of the time.If I'm not getting much hits I tend to push everything up,until I can't stand it any longer. ::) ::)
We don't get any MD'n mags.I don't really want to read about someone else finding several million pounds worth of anything.I'd prefer not to know, that way I don't know what I'm missing.I like it like that.I get all my info from forums and you tube.I quite enjoy watching other beach hunters finding much the same as we do.Simply because I believe I'll never find a really big one.We live in a poorish area and the temps are never exactly mind blowing.Consequently we're happy to pick up as much clad as we can, and if we happen upon a piece of jewellery it's a bonus but it won't be mind blowingly expensive.But we always live in hope.
You could have used it as a selling point! You could say, " somewhere in this yard is buried treasure!... it can be yours along with the house!" Some pirate laughter right after that would seal the deal! 😀 ....then they'd have you committed.

It's a real pain waitin' ta sell a house especially all that length of time.I'm sure you'll claw back another couple of silver dimes given a wee bit of time.
cool great finds and depth, so these beaches are they the same ones you always hit or are they new ones. I don't know what your weather is like this time of year but here nobody is on the beach or will be for 2 months
They are our local beaches each within half an hour of home.It's not worth travelling 1-3 hours at this time of year for little or no return.Our sand levels have been very low for the last 3-4 weeks,but the winds of varying speeds have been bitterly cold.The only folks we see on the beaches at the moment are two or three dog walkers, it's just too cold for most folks.Even we haven't been getting out very much since December.Hopefully when we get our first few good days some folks will venture out onto the beaches.

Steve, The CP1 is the newest model, not in full production yet.The woodland camo ones are just going into production now.Both are new models stepping up from previous models. 8) 8)
Ha Ha.I tried them again since I only tried them on 2 tones before, which is how I usually have the F70 setup.I never liked the high tone on 3 tones, however I've now tried it on 3 tones and the high tone sounds a lot mellower.To me it used to sound like a high pitched squeak,but after that wee check I'll prolly start using the 3 tones now in disc mode of course.I believe he has customers in the states too, as well as the rest of Europe.He uses paypal for payment.I forgot to say he gives a lifetime warranty in the UK.
Sounds real good to me Mark.But we've not been out with them yet, just tried them with a few random foreign coins in the house.If either of us have them on standing next to each other it is very difficult to talk to whoever is using the phones.To hear Eileen I have to remove one ear.
That's not good for our image.It's really an ad in very poor taste.At least when our companies use a metal detectorist in their ads,it's done with good humour.
