Our favourite sandwich is cheddar cheese with sliced raw onions. 😀 😀The real fun starts when I'm counting up the take for the day.The pics are the glamorous bit of the job. 8) 8)The really hard part is loading and unloading the car, and I have to put in the hours at home on servicing, maintenanceand tuning.
at #3209Â Yeah, I like it when you have an account but it won't recognize your password so you try to open a new account but you can't because they still recognize your Email address on your old account DUH!
I've had the same problems too, when I was a member of another forum where the owner kept changing to a different system. It was a total nightmare trying to get logged in. :'( :'(
at #3197Well Mark, if I didn't get any fun out of it I'm sure no-one else would. It's great to see all the smiling faces.Tink, it's only the exchange rate that makes our totals look good.Of course everything is more expensive here as well, probably because our population is much lower than yours and profit margins from the percentage of population.
at #3202Thanks guys. We're gonna be concentrating on three known beaches. All three within 1.5 miles of our holiday home.Yahoo. 8) 8)
at #3204White Lake sounds like a beautiful place to spend a weekend. We would have taken our detectors too.It was nice of ya to help the young lad out by finding his cross and chain. Thanks for keeping up our good reputation Mark.Sorry your hunting was curtailed a bit by not feeling well, maybe it was something you ate?I'm glad ya had a good time with the AT Pro.Ya must do it again sometime, sooner rather than later. 8) 8)
at #3190Going by the video reviews,it looks like a good one.The price is right as well, that alone will sell it. 8) 8)
at #3183I'll bet ya had a great time swinging in the sand. It's nice ta cya gettin' out for a hunt. The tides are a bit of a lucky bag when your on vacation,I hope it's not sanded in when we get there. We've had a lot of rain in the last 2-3 weeks,so we haven't been gettin' out as much as we'd like to.I can't even get out busking with the organ either. Our vacation starts on Friday 12th Sept for two whole weeks. We have a different plan for the Cornish beaches this year,it should be much more cost efficient and not so tiring. 8) 8)
at #3179Personally I don't like knobs and flick switches.I do believe push buttons are the answer.Although Tesoro seems to have an excellent reputation,I feel they're somewhat lagging behind in modern technology.I hope I haven't upset anyone,of course that's only my own opinion and not necessarily anyone else's.Also bear in mind I have never used a Tesoro.
at #3168I bet you're just itchin' to get out on a beach tink.Especially after that hard winter. 8) 8)
at #3172I'm looking forward to seeing how you get on, on the beach. It should take your mind of things for a wee while anyway.I know how you feel about your Dad.My Dad was a fine upright gentleman and lived his life honestly, straight and true.I'll never be half the man my Dad was.He set a high standard of behaviour which I can't even get close to. He had high moral standards as well. But was always fair and understanding, and was a patient man.
at #3165Wow, 79 Fahrenheit had you guys retreat into the night. LOL Congrats on your total and sounds like you guys had a good time
60F is high enough for us to be really comfortable. We don't need any tropical temps. We're gonna try goin' out at 6am tomorrow and do a couple of local beaches. It will be misty and cool in the morning, ideal for us. 🙂 🙂
at #3159We think it's a fact of life that ya have to be in the right place at the right time. It's now getting close to the main holiday fortnight in Scotland.Usually the weekend closest to the 14th July to the 28th.We have to make plans for it and hopefully get good totals. The weather and tide times will have to be noted as well.
at #3152I didn't go to Ebay to look but I think when you type in search the site will bring up what they think matches what you are looking for? ::)
I don't use Ebay but I do agree with tink.I sometimes get that message when I search inside a website.;D ;D
at #3108Our Fisher F70s are teamed up with the NEL Hunter coils. That's the 9.5" X 12.5".We mostly like them because of the sturdier build, especially the lugs where the bolt goes thru and the location of the lugs.On the original Fisher DD coil they're at the back of the coil and their so very thin one of the lugs snapped off.Whereas the NEL lugs are much thicker and located in the centre of the coil which helps the balance overall. We're quite happy with the depth, it goes to about 14 inches depending on conditions and settings. We'll never go back to the Fisher coils again.Off course what's right for us might not be right for someone else.
